en Propertybinding (M365)

The following method allows you to adjust properties of a graphomate graphic dynamically, using cell references.

Using Excel (Desktop) as an example, we will explain how to dynamically assign settings.

  1. You have already added a graphomate Add-In to your workbook and linked the data.
  2. After the graphomate graphic has been created, navigate to the upper area of the visualization until several buttons () appear.
  3. Select the symbol. A new dialog with opens.
  4. Click on the icon (Add Binding). In the upper list (Property to bind) you select the desired property (e.g. Title) and under Range you define the cell reference by clicking on a specific cell.
  5. Confirm the dialog with 'Select'.
  6. You can repeat this process for all available properties.

If you change the content in the connected excel cell, for example adding a new title for a chart, the title in the graphomate visual will update automatically.

With the 'Rebind' symbol you can redefine the cell reference of a property.

The bucket icon can be used to delete properties and their links to cells.
