WebI graphomate extensions no longer accessible - Common causes

Please check if the following settings are configured correctly:

Custom elements from WebI are no longer available, test fails to connect to the services

This issue affects the following versions of the platform when the test connection to the Services fails with the error “Test has failed.  [IllegalArgumentException] (Error: RWI 00011)". Therefore it is impossible to declare any Custom Element.“:

  • BI Platform Servers 4.2 SP8 patches 10, 11 and 12. The issue has been fixed in SP8 Patch 12 Hotfix 1.

  • BI Platform Servers 4.2 SP9 patch 4. The issue has been fixed in SP9 Patch 5.

Please upgrade to enable the use of graphomate extension again as Custom Elements in WebI.

Possible errors during installation/update to BOE 4.3+

  1. Is the graphomate war file on the Tomcat server written the same as in the URL of the service?

  2. Has the Tomcat server been restarted?

  3. Is the graphomate service whitelisted? SAP Documentation
    Please also check the spelling of the URL on the whitelist and the CMC, often a missing "/" is the source of the error.
